A Chance At Married Life
Some men are not the marrying type. Some women are not the marrying type.
Some marrying type women go out with the non-marrying type men.
Call it commitment phobia, some men just don’t see themselves boxed in a lifetime commitment.
Why go out with someone who’s not the marrying type?
Why waste your precious time for a relationship that has no future?
Is marriage a thing of the past of just a fad?
Is it just a matter of legality or conformance to the norm of the society?
Why get married if you can’t afford to have a grand reception? And who the hell asks you to have a grand wedding, anyway? Society? People? Relatives? Friends?
Why get married if your salary is not enough? Don’t you think you can’t improve your life five years from now?
Why be so sure of the present and too worried about the future when everything we have is just borrowed from the Supreme Being?
At all cost, at any given time, irregardless of what religion you are into—get married and don’t settle for a live-in relationship.
Love goes hand in hand with commitment. Getting married is a lifetime commitment. I want to get married…. but only to the RIGHT MAN.

When I wrote that article (A Chance At Married Life), I was still mending a broken heart kasi di ako agad naka-get over sa break up namin ng bf ko of several years. Wala pa sa buhay ko ang husband ko nung sinulat ko yan. Naks! Short-term engagement kami ng husband ko and so far, everything’s okay.
